  1. 16 slices bacon -- diced

  2. 2 8 oz pkgs cream cheese -- softened, cubed

  3. 4 cups shredded mild Cheddar cheese

  4. 1 cup half and half 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

  5. 1 teaspoon dry minced onion

  6. 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

  7. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  8. 2 drops Tabasco sauce

  1. Preparation : Fry diced bacon in a skillet until crisp; drain on paper towels and set aside. Place cream cheese, cheddar cheese, half and half, Worcestershire sauce, mince onion, mustard, salt, and Tabasco in the Crock-Pot. Set on Low and allow cheese to melt, stirring occasionally for about 1 hour. Taste and adjust seasonings. Then stir in bacon and serve directly from Crock-Pot. Serve with fruit slices such as apples or pears or serve with French bread slices. Tip: If serving with fruit slices, dip fruit slices in lemon juice to prevent browning.
