  5. -- CREAM --

  6. 3/4 c Butter with:

  7. 2 c Sugar, Stir In:

  8. 2 Eggs, Well Beaten

  9. 1/2 c Molasses

  10. 2 t Vinegar

  11. -- SIFT AND ADD --

  12. 3 3/4 c All Purpose Flour

  13. 1 1/2 t Soda

  14. 3 t Ginger

  15. 1/2 t Cinnamon

  16. 1/4 t Cloves

  17. þ Mix ingredients until well blended.

  18. þ Form dough into 3/4-inch balls.

  19. þ Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

  20. þ Bake on a greased cookie sheet for about 12 minutes.

  21. þ As the ball melts down during baking, the cookie develops the character-

  22. istic crinkled surface.

  23. NOTE: A topping to delight the kids is 1/2 a marshmallow, cut side down,

  24. on the almost baked cookies. Return to oven about 4 minutes. When cool,

  25. ice to taste.

  26. 10 dozen, 2-inch cookies.

  27. ANOTHER NOTE: If you dunk these in coffee...don't dring the

  28. coffee.. --
