  1. 4 turkey drumsticks (about 3-4 pounds total 2 t. salt 1/2 t. pepper 1/2 c. water 1/4 c. butter 1/2 c. catsup 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed 1 t. dry mustard 1/2 t.

  1. Arrange drumsticks in large skillet. Season with salt and pepper; add water. Cover tightly; simmer, turning occasionally for about 2 hours. (If all the water evaporates, add small amounts at a time; this way you don't lose the turkey flavor to the water) Heat oven to 425 degrees. In oven, melt butter in a 9 X 13 pan. Put drumsticks in the pan, turning each to coat with butter. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees; mix catsup, brown sugar, mustard & nutmeg and pour over the drumsticks. Bake uncovered 15 min. longer. (You might want to make some extra sauce to save for dipping at the table!)
