  1. 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails on

  2. 2 cups onions, cut into 2 cups red bell pepper, cut into 1 1/2-inch-thick pieces

  3. 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  4. 1/4 cup soy sauce

  5. 1/4 cup orange juice

  6. 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  7. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  8. 2/3 cup diced radish

  9. 2/3 cup diced plums

  10. 2/3 cup peeled and diced kiwi

  1. Prepare outdoor grill, placing grill rack 5 inches from heat source or preheat broiler. Arrange shrimp, onions and bell peppers on skewers and set aside. In a medium bowl, combine oil, soy sauce, orange juice, oregano and black pepper. Brush skewers liberally with oil mixture.

  2. In a small bowl, combine radish, plums and kiwi; set aside.

  3. Place skewers on grill rack or broiler pan. Grill or broil, basting frequently, until shrimp are no longer opaque, about 2 to 3 minutes per side. Serve skewers with kiwi-plum salsa.
