  1. 8 med. very ripe tomatoes, sliced

  2. 3/4 c. minced green bell pepper

  3. 1/2 c. minced onion

  4. 1 c. white vinegar (divided)

  5. 1 tsp. salt

  6. 1/2 tsp. each dry mustard, red cayenne pepper, ground nutmeg & cinnamon

  7. 1/4 tsp. ground allspice

  8. 12-16 pkg. low calorie sweetener or to taste

  1. Combine tomatoes, bell pepper and onion. Put part of the mixture in blender with a little of the vinegar, cover and blend until smooth. Repeat until all the vegetable mixture is pureed. Combine puree with remaining vinegar, salt, mustard, red pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice, cover and simmer 1 hour. Remove from heat, when cooked; add sweetener until dissolved. Store in refrigerator. Makes about 4 cups of ketchup. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, seasoning to taste...
