  1. 3 tablespoons 45ml Butter

  2. 3 tablespoons 45ml All-purpose flour

  3. 1 cup 237ml Milk - scalded

  4. Salt

  5. Black pepper

  1. Melt butter over low heat. Whisk flour in gradually. Cook one minute, whisking constantly. Slowly add milk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps. Continue to cook and stir until sauce just boils. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
