  1. 1/2 cup plain, vanilla, or lemon yogurt

  2. 3/4 cup milk

  3. 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  4. 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

  5. 4 tablespoons butter, melted

  6. 2 large eggs

  7. 2 cups all-purpose flour

  8. 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  9. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  10. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  11. 1 cup fresh red raspberries or blueberries

  12. 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, optional

  13. Topping:

  14. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

  15. 2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar

  16. Dash cinnamon

  17. 2 tablespoons softened butter

  1. Heat oven to 400. Lightly grease and flour muffin cups or line with paper or foil liners.

  2. In bowl combine yogurt, milk, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup brownsugar, melted butter, and egg. In separate bowl stir together flour, bakingpowder, salt and baking soda. Combine the mixtures,stirring only until dry ingredients are moistened. Gently fold in berries. Spoon intomuffin cups.

  3. In a small bowl combine the topping ingredients with a fork until crumbly.

  4. Top muffins with crumb topping.

  5. Bake the muffins for 20 to 25 minutes.

  6. Makesabout 12 to 15 muffins.
