  1. 1/3 cup 65g / 2 1/3oz Sugar

  2. 1 cup 62g / 2 1/5oz Onion - finely chopped (medium)

  3. 1/2 cup 118ml Boiling water

  4. 6 oz 170g Tomato paste

  5. 1/4 cup 59ml Worcestershire sauce

  6. 1/4 cup 59ml Vinegar

  7. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Chili powder

  8. 1 teaspoon 5ml Dry mustard

  9. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Salt

  1. Recipe Instructions In a medium saucepan, cook sugar over medium heat until beings to melt, shaking pan occasionally (do not stir). Reduce heat to low and add onion. Cook and stir 5 minutes until sugar is golden brown. Carefully and gradually, add the boiling water, stirring constantly. Whisk in remaining ingredients. bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until desired consistency.
