  1. 2 lbs 908g / 32oz Round steak - fat trimmed

  2. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  3. 1 teaspoon 5ml Pepper

  4. 1 1/2 cups 93g / 3 1/3oz All-purpose flour

  5. 1/2 cup 118ml Milk

  6. 1 Egg - lightly beaten Cooking oil

  7. 1 Onion - chopped

  8. 1 cup 237ml Beef broth

  1. Recipe Instructions Pound steak to tenderize; cut into serving size pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Dust with flour. Combine milk and egg; dip meat into egg mixture and back into flour. In a skillet, brown meat on both sides in oil. Place onion in an ungreased 13x9x2" baking pan. Place meat over onion. Pour broth over all. Cover tightly and bake at 350F. for 1 1/2 hours. Uncover and bake for 20 minutes more.
