  1. 1 large egg

  2. 3/4 cup milk

  3. 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  4. 2 cups all-purpose flour

  5. 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  6. 1 tablespoon baking powder

  7. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  8. 1 tablespoon minced onion

  9. 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Wisconsin Medium Cheddar cheese Paprika

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). In a large bowl, beat egg; stir in milk and oil all at once. Add flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and onion; stir until flour is just moistened. Add cheese; blend lightly. Spoon mixture into 12-cup muffin pan, filling each cup about 3/4 full. Sprinkle each with 1 tablespoon cheese and dust with paprika. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until done; remove from pan. Cool slightly before serving.
