  1. 200 Gms Dried Yellow Split Peas

  2. 150 Gms Lentils

  3. 80 Gms Oat Meal

  4. 750 Gm Chopped Lamb

  5. 2 Tbsp Maiezana

  6. 4 Tsp Cumin Seeds

  7. 3 Onions

  8. 5 Tsp Garam Masala

  9. 3 Tsp Ajinomoto

  10. Lemon

  11. Salt

  12. Pepper

  13. 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves

  1. Soak the split peas in water for 4 hours.

  2. Cook the split peas, lentils and salt for 30 minutes.

  3. Cut the lamb into cubes and mix with salt, pepper, maiezena and ajinomoto.

  4. Fry the onion in heated oil.

  5. Add lamb cubes and fry well.

  6. Add masala powder and cumin powder.

  7. Add this spiced lamb cubes to the dal.

  8. Add more water and cook for 30 minutes in a Pressure Cooker.

  9. Add oats diluted in a glass of water.

  10. Bring to the boil until it becomes thick soup.
