  1. 1/3 cup soft butter

  2. 1 (3 oz) package cream cheese, softened

  3. 3/4 cup sugar

  4. 1 egg yolk

  5. 2 teaspoons orange juice

  6. 2 teaspoons almond extract

  7. 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour

  8. 2 teaspoons baking powder

  9. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  10. 5 cups sweetened flake coconut - divided

  11. 1 package Hershey Kisses unwrapped

  1. Beat butter, cream cheese, and sugar at medium speed. Add egg yolk, orange juice, and almond extract beating until mixture is blended. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating until blended. Stir in 3 cups of coconut. Cover and chill for 1 hour. Shape dough into 1" balls. Roll into remaining 2 cups coconut. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350° for 11-13 minutes or until lightly brown. Remove from oven and press one kiss into each cookie. Cool on baking sheets for 1 minutes then move to wire racks to cool completely.
