  2. **MIXTURE 1**

  3. 3/4 cup sugar

  4. 2 tablespoons butter or margarine -- plus

  5. 1 1/2 teaspoons butter or margarine

  6. 3/4 cup evaporated milk

  7. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  8. 3/4 teaspoon salt

  9. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  10. 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

  11. **MIXTURE 2**

  12. 2 16 oz cans tart cherries and juice

  13. 1 teaspoon red food coloring

  14. 2 cups sugar

  15. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

  16. 1/4 cup butter or margarine -- melted

  1. Lightly grease inside of Crock-Pot.

  2. Mixture #1: Combine sugar and margarine until crumbly. add milk and other dry ingredients. Pour into Crock-Pot.

  3. Mixture #2: Combine ingredients thoroughly until sugar is dissolved. Pour over Mixture #1 which will rise to the top during baking.

  4. Cover and cook 3 to 4 hours on HIgh or until dough is set and solid. Serve immediately. Top with vanilla ice cream if desired.

  5. Note: This tasty cobbler bakes by the crust raising to the top and the cherry mixture sinks to the bottom of the Crock-Pot.
