  6. 1/4 cup buttermilk , can substitute Frosting :

  7. 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter , room temperature

  8. 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar

  9. 2 tsp whipping cream

  10. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Line 12 cup muffin tin with paper liners.

  3. Sift flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt into medium bowl. Whisk mashed banana, melted butter, egg, and buttermilk in large bowl to blend. Add flour mixture and whisk just until combined.

  4. Fill cups and bake until toothpick comes out clean, about 25 minutes. For Frosting: 1. Beat butter until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in powdered sugar, then cream and vanilla.

  5. Spread frosting over cupcakes.
