    1. 1/4 cup unsalted butter

    2. 1/4 tsp. red pepper

    3. 2 Tablespoon sugar

    4. 1 1/2 tsp. cumin

    5. 1 tsp salt

    6. 3 cups pecans

    1. Melt butter for 2 minutes; add cumin and red pepper. Cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat; add pecans, then sugar and salt. Stir to coat; spread in a single layer in a jelly pan.

    2. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.

    3. Stir, spread and cool.
