  1. KOHLRABI WITH HONEY BUTTER

  3. 8 kohlrabis (about 2 lbs.), peeled & cut into 1/4" x

  4. 1" sticks

  5. 2 medium carrots, peeled & cut into 1/8" x

  6. 1" strips

  7. 2 cups chicken broth

  8. 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

  9. 1/2 teaspoon shredded lemon peel

  10. 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  11. 2 tablespoons honey

  12. 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  13. 2 tablespoons butter In a medium saucepan cook kohlrabi and carrots with chicken broth,

  14. 6 to 8 minutes until crisp tender. Add parsley, lemon

  15. peel, lemon juice, honey, pepper and butter. Toss lightly and serve.
