  1. 4 corn on the cobs

  2. 25 g butter

  3. 1 onions , finely chopped

  4. 200 ml creme fraiche

  5. 1 pinches black pepper

  6. 1 tsp grated nutmeg

  1. Creamed corn Method 1. Remove the corn from the cob.

  2. Heat the butter in a saucepan and gently fry the onion and corn for about five minutes or so, until soft. Add the crème fraiche.

  3. Cover and cook on a very low heat for ten minutes. Season with salt, freshly ground black pepper and a pinch of nutmeg. Serve immediately.
