  1. 2 lbs 908g / 32oz Shrimp - (preferably under, 15 to a pound)

  2. 3/4 lb 340g / 11oz Butter - softened

  3. 3 Shallots - chopped fine

  4. 4 Garlic cloves - crushed

  5. Chopped fine 1/2 Lemon - juice of

  6. 2 tablespoons 30ml Chopped fresh parsley

  7. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Plain dry bread crumbs

  8. 1 Egg yolk

  9. 2 teaspoons 10ml Red devil hot sauce

  10. Salt to taste

  11. Pepper to taste

  1. Clean, devein and butterfly shrimp. Place them in large, flat pan.

  2. Mix butter, shallots, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, bread crumbs, egg yolk, hot sauce and salt and pepper to taste in bowl.

  3. Spoon over raw shrimp. Place under broiler for 3-5 minutes, checking occasionally not to overcook.

  4. Spoon excess sauce over shrimp and serve.
