  1. : First, combine the first six ingredients into a large saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil. Then, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 2 minutes. Next, transport the newly mixed soup to a blender or food processor and pure the mixture until smooth (you will have to do this in 2 batches.) Return the pured soup to the saucepan and stir in the vodka. Simmer for about 2 minutes. While you are letting it simmer, combine the sour cream and horseradish to make the horseradish cream. Serve your Bloody Mary Soup in festive soup bowls or mugs and top with a small dollop of the cream you just made and a leafy stalk of celery. Here's a tip: You can make this soup a day ahead and serve either warm for those cold winter nights, or chilled as a refreshing appetizer for the days when you don't want something hot to drink.
