  1. 1/2 cup broken uncooked spaghetti (2-inch pieces)

  2. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  3. 5 teaspoons soy sauce

  4. 1 tablespoon vinegar

  5. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  6. 1 cup diced fully cooked ham

  7. 2 green onions, chopped

  8. 1/2 head lettuce, torn

  9. 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

  1. Cook spaghetti until tender; drain, rinse and set aside. In a large bowl, combine oil, soy sauce, vinegar and salt. Add spaghetti, ham and onions; toss to coat. Cover and chill for 1-3 hours. Just before serving, add lettuce and sesame seeds; toss gently. Yield: 4 servings.
