  9. --SWEET MANGO CHUTNEY--

  10. 225 g Mangoes

  11. 100 g Sugar

  12. 2 Garlic cloves

  13. 3 sl Ginger

  14. 2 ts Mustard seeds

  15. 2 Clove

  16. 2 Cardamom

  17. 75 ml Vinegar

  18. 1/2 ts Chile powder

  19. 1/4 ts Salt

  20. 50 g Sultanas

  23. Peel and slice the mangoes and place in a bowl for 3

  24. hours with half the sugar. Crush the garlic, ginger

  25. and mustard seeds together and crush the cardamoms and cloves. Mix all these ingredients together and add the

  26. vinegar, chile powder and salt. Put in a pan, add the

  27. remaining sugar and cook for 10- 15 minutes. Add mango

  28. slices, mix well and cook for a further 10 minutes,

  29. mix well and stir in the sultanas.
