  3. 1/4 C Hazelnuts -- toasted, finely ground

  4. Pinch Salt

  5. 2 Tsp Baking Powder

  6. 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda

  7. 1 Egg Beaters. 99% Egg Substitute -- or equiv to

  8. 1 egg

  9. 1 1/3 C Nonfat Milk -- or buttermilk

  10. 1/4 C Applesauce

  11. 1 large Granny Smith Apple -- peel, dice

  12. 1/2 tsp Vanilla

  1. NOTE: Recipe adjusted from the original to lower the fat content. Original recipe called for 1/3 C hazelnuts - I used 1/4 C. It also calls for 2 T butter, melted (optional), I chose to omit it or in the future to use Wonder slim instead of the butter.

  2. NOTE: To toast hazelnuts - bake on sheet pan till golden brown and hull starts to break off. Rub hull to remove. Grind to nice fine meal.

  3. In bowl put flour, hazelnuts, baking powder, baking soda, applesauce, egg beaters, nonfat milk, and vanilla. Stir till it comes together.

  4. Add apple or any fruit you prefer.

  5. Can make any size you want. When top bubbles flip them over.
