Strawberry Pie

    1. INGREDIENTS:

    2. 1 qt. fresh strawberries

    3. 1 baked pie shell

    4. 1 c. whipped cream

    5. DIRECTIONS:

    6. 3 level tablespoons cornstarch. Add

    7. 1 cup sugar (mix sugar and cornstarch together first before adding and it isn't as likely to lump). Bring to a boil. Boil gently for 10 minutes. Watch very carefully so they do not burn. Remove from stove and cool. Pour over berries in the pie shell. Chill. Serve with whipped cream. Yield:

    8. 1 (9 inch) pie.
