Springtime Stawberry Shortcake

    1. 1 c honey

    2. 1/2 c butter

    3. 2 tsp vanilla

    4. 3/4 c water

    5. 1/2 tsp salt

    6. 4 tsp baking powder

    7. 3 egg s

    8. 3 c whole wheat flour

    Instructions Jump to Ingredients ↑

    1. Cream honey and butter until smooth. Add water, vanilla and eggs. Mix in flour until just combined. Do not overbear or shortcake will be tough. Spread in 9x13 baking pan and bake at 375 for approx 30 mins. Cut in squares. Slice each half horizontally and spread open on plate. Top with strawberry topping.
