  1. 1 lb. ground beef

  2. 1/2 cup uncooked rice

  3. 1/2 cup water Salt and Pepper to taste

  4. 1/3 cup onion, chopped fine

  5. 1 clove garlic, minced

  6. 1 egg

  7. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  8. 28 oz. can whole tomatoes, process in blender

  9. 1 cup water

  10. 1/2 tsp.

  1. Mix ground beef, uncooked rice, water, onion, garlic and salt and pepper. Add egg and parmesan cheese and mix well. Heat 2 Tb. olive oil in a large skillet with lid. Brown meatballs on all sides. Add tomatoes and water and oregano. Cover and simmer 45 minutes until meatballs are tender and sauce has thickened. Serve with crusty garlic bread and tossed salad.
