  1. 2 cups coarsely chopped (1-inch pieces) cabbage

  2. 1 cup ready-to-eat baby-cut carrots, cut lengthwise into quarters

  3. 1 cup uncooked wild rice

  4. 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)

  5. 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

  6. 1 package (8 oz) sliced mushrooms (3 cups)

  7. 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces

  8. 1/2 lb sweet Italian sausage links (about 2), cut into 1-inch pieces

  9. 2 cans (14 oz each) chicken broth

  10. 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup

  1. In 4- to 5-quart slow cooker, mix all ingredients except broth and soup.

  2. In medium bowl, mix broth and soup. Pour over meat and vegetables in slow cooker; stir gently until blended.

  3. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 6 to 8 hours.
