  1. 1 9" pie shell

  2. 1 lb. ground beef

  3. 1 onion, chopped

  4. 2 cloves garlic, minced

  5. 16 oz. can refried beans

  6. 1/3 cup taco sauce

  7. 1 cup crushed taco chips

  8. 1 Tbsp. chili powder

  9. 1/2 tsp. ground cumin

  10. 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

  11. 1 cup shredded Cojack cheese

  12. 1/4 cup grated Cotija or Parmesan cheese sour cream salsa diced tomatoes cubed avocado

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare pie shell and set aside. In heavy skillet, cook ground beef, onions, and garlic until beef is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain well. Stir in refried beans, taco sauce, crushed taco chips, seasonings, and Cheddar cheese. Place in pie shell. Sprinkle top with Cojack and cotija cheeses. Bake pie at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is hot and bubbly. Top with remaining ingredients as desired. Serves 8
