  2. 1/2 Cup Butter

  3. 5/8 Cup Brown Sugar

  4. 1 Egg White

  5. 1 3/4 Cups Flour

  6. 1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda

  7. 1 Tsp. Ground Ginger

  1. Beat the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add the egg white and beat well.

  2. Sift in flour, ginger, and baking soda. Mix well with a spoon to form a dough.

  3. Sprinkle some flour onto your work surface, and roll out the dough carefully unt il it's about 1/4 inch thick.

  4. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes. Put them on a greased cookie sheet, and bake in the oven for ten minutes. (350 F)

  5. 5.Try decorating the cookies with confectioner's sugar mixed with a little water and food colorin
