  1. 2 x 135g packets honey-roast salmon flakes

  2. 150g packet smoked salmon, chopped

  3. 150g (5oz) unsalted butter, softened

  4. 15ml (1tbsp) lemon juice

  5. Fresh dill and green peppercorns, to garnish

  6. Brown bread toasts, to serve

  1. Reserve a few flakes of the honey-roast salmon for garnish and place the rest in a food processor or blender with the smoked salmon, butter and lemon juice.

  2. Season with freshly ground black pepper and process for about 30 seconds until smooth. Transfer to four small ramekin dishes and level the surface.

  3. Garnish with the reserved salmon flakes, fresh dill and green peppercorns. Serve with the brown bread toasts.
