  1. 1 loaf italian bread, unsliced

  2. 1/2 cup prepared horseradish spread, divided

  3. 1 cup roasted sweet peppers, drained

  4. 224 g thinly sliced provolone or baby swiss cheese

  5. 1 cup packed arugula

  6. 224 g thinly sliced deli roast beef, pastrami or smoked turkey breast

  7. 1/4 tsp. pepper

  8. 1/2 cup shredded fresh basil leaves

  1. Slice bread in half horizontally. Scoop out some of the bread from the center of each half. Spread bottom half of loaf with 1/4 cup horseradish spread. Top with peppers, cheese, arugula and meat. Spread top half of loaf with horseradish spread. Sprinkle with pepper and basil. Press over bottom half of loaf. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap. Refrigerate 3 to 4 hours to blend flavors. Slice to serve.
