  1. 1/4 cup butter , softened

  2. 1/4 cup light brown sugar

  3. 1/2 cup karo syrup

  4. 12 slices pineapple , drained

  5. 1 package white or yellow cake mix

  1. Blend butter, sugar and karo and pour into a 13x9x2 pan. Arrange pineapple over mixture. Bake in oven for 15 minutes (same temp as cake). Remove from oven and pour cake batter over pineapple. Bake 45-55 minutes or until cake is done. Invert cake onto cooling rack. Let stand 1 min and remove pan.
