  1. 2 Ripe avocados

  2. Juice of one grapefruit

  3. Juice of one lime

  4. 1/2 sm Shallot or 1 green onion

  5. 3 Sprigs parsley, coarsely

  6. 3 Sprigs cilantro

  7. 1/4 Hear red or green cabbage,

  8. -coarsely chopped

  9. 1 c Broccoli florets, broken

  10. -into small pieces

  11. 3 Ribs of celery, chopped

  12. 1 Large, tomato coarsely

  13. -chopped

  14. 5 Tomatillos, coarsely

  15. -chopped, optional

  16. 1 tb Fresh minced basil

  17. 1 tb Fresh minced thyme

  1. Peel and quarter avocados, reserving pits.

  2. Coarsely mash avocado with a fork in a nonmetallic bowl.

  3. Set aside any that might be too hard to mash easily.

  4. Pour grapefrit and lime juice into blender.

  5. Add shallot and 2 sprigs each of parsley and cilantro.

  6. Blen on high until liquified.

  7. Add blende mixture to mashed avocado, mix gently.

  8. Add remaining vegetables,basil and thyme.

  9. Stir well.

  10. Garnish with reserved cilantro and parsley.

  11. If not serving immediately, place in a small bowl with avocado pits,cover and refrigerate.

  12. The avocado pits keep the mixture from turning brown.
