Chocolate Pound Cake With

3 c Sugar

5 ea Eggs

3 c Sifted cake flour

1/4 ts Baking powder

1/2 c Cocoa

1 1/4 c Milk

--FUDGE FROSTING--

2 c Sugar

1/4 c Cocoa

1/4 ts Salt

2/3 c Milk

1/2 c Shortening

1 t Vanilla extract

10-inch tube pan. Bake at

325F for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan

10 minutes; remove from pan, and let cool completely on a wire rack. Spread Fudge Frosting on top and sides of cake. Fudge Frosting: Combine all ingredients except vanilla in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; boil
