  3. 1 cup gold or dark raisins

  4. 1 cup minced onion

  5. 1 1/2 tsp. salt

  6. 7 cups cubed day-old bread, crusts removed

  7. 1/8 tsp. pepper

  8. 1/4 cup sugar

  9. 3/4 cup melted butter

  1. Combine apples, raisins, onion, salt, bread cubes, pepper and sugar in a large bowl. Drizzle melted butter over and toss until evenly moistened.
