  1. 2 cucumbers , peeled, seeded and cut crosswise into 1/4-inch slices

  2. 14.79 ml rice wine vinegar or 14.79 ml distilled white vinegar

  3. 1 1/53 ml sugar

  4. cayenne pepper , to taste

  5. salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  1. Whisk together vinegar, sugar and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. Add cucumbers and toss to coat.

  3. Chill until ready to serve.
