  1. 1 pound turkey breakfast sausage, removed from casings

  2. 1 cup chopped onion

  3. 1 cup chopped celery

  4. 1 1/2 cups bulgur

  5. 2 1/2 cups turkey broth or chicken broth

  6. 3/4 cup golden raisins

  7. 1/2 cup walnuts

  8. 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  9. 1 teaspoon dried sage

  10. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  1. In a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, cook sausage, onion and celery until sausage is not longer pink, about 10 minutes. Crumble sausage with a wooden spoon as it cooks. Reduce heat to medium, stir in bulgur, cook 5 minutes to brown.

  2. Add broth, raisins, walnuts, thyme, sage and pepper; bring to boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed and bulgur is tender.
