  2. 6 fresh jalapenos

  3. 2 green bell peppers, stemmed, seeded and chopped

  4. 1 1/2 cups cider vinegar

  5. 5 1/2 cups sugar

  6. 6 ounces liquid pectin

  7. 2 drops green food coloring

  1. Stem, devein and seed jalapenos, reserving a few seeds. Chop jalapenos and transfer to a large saucepan. Add bell peppers, cider vinegar and sugar and heat to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat and simmer mixture 10 minutes, skimming foam off top. Stir in pectin and food coloring. Simmer 1 minute. Remove pan from heat and let stand 15 minutes. Can into sterilized jars.
