  1. 3 cups 711ml Buttermilk

  2. 3 Eggs

  3. 1/3 cup 78ml Oil

  4. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Baking soda

  5. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Baking powder

  6. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Vanilla

  8. 1 cup 198g / 7oz Sugar

  9. 3 cups 711ml Bran flakes - slightly crush

  10. 3 cups 187g / 6.6oz All-purpose flour

  1. Put first ingredients through blender on high speed 20 seconds. Pour into bowl and beat in remaining ingredients at low speed of mixer until completely mixed. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours.

  2. Fill greased muffin well almost full and bake 400F 20 to 25 minutes or until cracked on top and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

  3. tbs plumped raisins can be added to each well of batter before baking.
