  2. Title: Apple Cream Lasagne

  5. 9 Oven ready lasagne noodles

  6. 1/3 c Butter

  7. 6 Granny Smith apples-

  8. Peeled,cored and sliced.

  9. 1/3 c Packed brown sugar

  10. 1/2 c Toasted, chopped pecans

  11. 2 ts Ground cinnamon

  12. 1 pk Light cream cheese,softened

  13. 1 Egg

  14. 1 ts Vanilla

  15. 1 c Whipping cream, whipped

  16. 1/2 c Fresh breadcrumbs

  17. 1/4 c Granulated sugar

  18. Place noodles in a 11 x 7 inch baking dish, cover with

  19. warm water and soak 20 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  20. Meanwhile, in saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter over

  21. medium heat. Add apples, cover and cook 10 minutes,

  22. or until tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from

  23. heat and stir in 3 tbsp. brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon; set aside. Place cream cheese and remaining

  24. brown sugar in large bowl. Beat 3 minutes or until

  25. light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Fold

  26. whipped cream into cream cheese mixture in thirds and set aside. Melt remaining butter. In small bowl,

  27. combine breadcrumbs, sugar and melted butter.

  28. Spread half of the apple mixture in bottom of same

  29. baking dish. Layer with 3 noodles. Spread with half

  30. of cream cheese mixture, and layer with 3 more

  31. noodles. Spread with remaining apple mixture and layer

  32. with last three noodles.

  33. Top with remaining cream mixture and sprinkle with

  34. 305øF for 30 minutes. Let

  35. 20 minutes before serving. Makes

  36. 8 servings.
