  4. 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  5. 1/4 cup red wine-vinegar

  6. 1/4 cup fresh lime juice

  7. 1 teaspoon seasoning mix (below)

  8. 1 minced garlic clove

  9. --seasoning--

  10. 6 tablespoons salt

  11. 1 1/2 teaspoons ground pepper

  12. 1 1/3 teaspoons chili powder

  13. 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  14. 3/4 teaspoon cumin

  1. Mix and store in jar. Use as needed. This was in Bon Appetit magazine March; 1986: Marinade 2 lb. skirt steak in refrigerator over night.

  2. Probably other beef cut can also be used. The marinade is very good.
