  1. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Butter

  2. 1/4 cup 49g / 1.7oz Sugar - granulated

  3. 1/4 cup 40g / 1.4oz Brown sugar - firmly packed

  4. 1 Egg - lg

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Vanilla

  6. 1 1/2 cups 93g / 3 1/3oz Unbleached flour

  7. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Baking soda

  8. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  9. 1 1/2 cups 355ml Cheddar; sharp - shredded

  10. 8 1/4 oz 234g Pineapple - crushed, drained

  11. 1/4 cup 15g / 1/2oz Maraschino cherries - chopped

  1. Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy then stir in the egg and vanilla. Add the combined dry ingredients and blend well.

  2. Stir in the cheese, pineapple, and cherries. Drop the dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

  3. Bake at 375F for 15 minutes.
