  1. 5 pounds and fills a pan

  2. 10"x

  3. 16" (or 10"x18")

  4. 3 eggs

  5. 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk

  6. 28-ounce jar mince meat

  7. 1 cup applesauce

  8. 3 cups flour

  9. 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  10. 1 pound dried fruit, chopped (dates, raisins, prunes, apricots, figs)

  11. 2 cups walnuts or mixed nuts

  12. 1/2 cup brandy

  13. In large bowl, beat eggs. Add condensed milk, mince meat, and applesauce Sift flour and baking soda together. Stir into mixture.

  14. Fold or stir in fruit and nuts. (Mixture should be moist but not

  15. runny.)

  16. Line pan's bottom and sides with waxed paper greased with margarine

  17. 315 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours - or until done. Cool.

  18. Let age a few days. Wrap in Saran Wrap and seal in plastic bag or bags. Can be frozen; keeps well.
