  1. 1/2 pound velveeta cheese -- cut up

  2. 1/2 pound butter or margarine

  3. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  4. 2 pounds powdered sugar

  5. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  1. Preparation : In a large saucepan or small dutch oven, combine cheese and butter over low heat, stirring occasionally until completely melted and smooth. Sift together the powdered sugar and cocoa to insure lump-free candy. Stir vanilla into butter/cheese mixture, and add powdered sugar/coca mixture. Beat with electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Pour fudge into buttered or "PAM"-sprayed 9"x 13"pan or 9"square pan for thicker pieces. Let stand until set at room temperature or chill before cutting into squares. (This is really yummy and actually needs very little cooking time!)
