  5. 3 1/2 c Flour

  6. 3 c Sugar

  7. 1 1/2 t Salt

  8. 4 ea Eggs, beaten

  9. 2 c Canned pumpkin

  10. 2/3 c Water

  11. 2 t Baking soda

  12. 1 t Nutmeg

  13. 1 t Cinnamon

  14. 1 c Vegetable oil

  15. 1 c Chopped pecans or walnuts

  16. 1 c Raisins or chopped dates

  17. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  18. Sift together flour, sugar, salt, soda, and spices in a large bowl. Add

  19. beaten eggs, pumpkin, water, and oil; mix until well blended. Add nuts

  20. 9-inch pans, three 8-inch

  21. 7-inch pans. Bake at

  22. 350 degrees (F) for 10 minutes, then

  23. 325 degrees (F) for one hour for 9-inch,

  24. 50 minutes for 8-inch, or minutes for 7-inch pans.
