  1. 2 cups spaghetti sauce

  2. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

  3. 1 teaspoon salt

  4. 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  5. 1 3/4 lbs boneless venison steak , cut to fit crockpot

  6. 2 medium onions , cut into chunks

  7. 2 cups small whole fresh mushrooms

  1. Stir first 4 ingredients together in bowl.

  2. Place steak pieces in 3 1/2 quart (3/5 L) slow cooker. Pour 1/3 of sauce over and between pieces.

  3. Sprinkle onion and mushrooms over top.

  4. Pour remaining 2/3 of sauce over all.

  5. Cover and cook on Low for 7-9 hours or on High for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours.
