  1. 1 Chickpeas or garbanzo beans - (15 oz)

  2. 1 Crushed or diced tomatoes - (15 oz)

  3. 3 Boiled potatoes - chopped

  4. 1/2 cup 80g / 2.8oz White raisins

  5. 1 cup 62g / 2 1/5oz Onion - chopped (large)

  6. 2 teaspoons 10ml Minced garlic

  7. 2 teaspoons 10ml Minced ginger root

  8. 2 tablespoons 30ml Hot curry paste - (or)

  9. 3 tablespoons 45ml Curry powder

  10. 1 teaspoon 5ml Coriander powder

  11. 1 teaspoon 5ml Ground cumin

  12. 1 teaspoon 5ml Chili powder

  13. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  1. Recipe Instructions Saute onions, garlic & ginger in (as little as possible) olive oil. Add tomatoes, & continue frying. Add all the spices & continue sauteing for about 5 min. Add chick peas, potatoes & raisins let simmer about 15 min. & serve alone or over rice. Serves 4 to 6
