  1. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Ground caribou

  2. 1/4 lb 113g / 4oz Ground pork

  3. 1/4 cup 59ml Quick oatmeal - red river

  4. Bread or - cracker crumbs

  5. 1/4 cup 15g / 1/2oz Onion - finely chopped

  6. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  7. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Garlic powder

  8. 2 teaspoons 10ml Prepared mustard

  9. 1 teaspoon 5ml Worcestershire sauce

  10. 1/4 cup 59ml Catsup or 1 Egg and 1 tablespoon 15ml Tomato paste

  11. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Hot pepper sauce

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl; shape the mixture into small balls, using a teaspoon of meat mixture for each.

  2. Cook in a skillet over medium heat in a little hot fat. Turn frequently until brown on all sides, 5 to 7 minutes.

  3. Makes 5 dozen miniature meat balls.

  4. Serve with your favorite barbecue sauce and slices of un buttered French bread.
