  1. 1 package refrigerated crescent rolls --

  2. 8 ounces 1 package cream cheese --

  3. 8 ounces - softened 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  4. 1 egg

  5. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract

  6. 1 cup canned cherry pie filling **GLAZE**

  7. 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  8. 2 1/2 teaspoons milk

  1. Preparation : Preheat oven to 350*F. Unroll crescent dough; arrange triangles in circle on 13" pizza pan with points toward center and wide ends toward the outside. Press seams together to seal, leaving a 3-inch hole in the center. Pinch outer and inner edges of dough to form a rim. For filing, combine cream cheese, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix until smooth. Spread cream cheese mixture over dough to within 1/2 inch of edges; top evenly with pie filling. Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly. For glaze, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth and desired consistency; drizzle over warm cake. Cut into slices and serve.
