  1. 1 c Warm water

  2. 1 tb Dry yeast

  3. 2 tb Vegetable oil

  4. 1 ts Salt

  5. 2 c Unbleached white flour

  6. 1 c Whole wheat flour

  1. In a bowl, mix water, yeast, oil & salt.

  2. Beat in the white flour, followed by the whole wheat flour.

  3. Mix well.

  4. Oil the dough's surface & allow to proof till light, about 25 minutes.

  5. Knead dough slightly, till soft.

  6. Cut into 6 poeces & roll each piece in cornmeal.

  7. Form each ball into muffins, 3 3/4 inches in diameter.

  8. Place on a cookie sheet.

  9. Preheat oven to 350F & bake for 15 minutes.
