  6. 3 lb Ground beef

  7. 1 lb Ground pork

  8. 1/2 tb Bacon fat or 5 Precooked strips of bacon

  9. Crushed 1/8 c Sugar

  10. 1/8 c Dark brown sugar

  11. 1 tb Beef soup base

  12. 1/2 t Instant coffee or 1/2 c - real coffee

  13. 1 c Chopped celery

  14. 1 t Thyme

  15. 2 ts Salt

  16. 1 t Cummin seed

  17. 1 t Garlic, powder or minced

  18. 1 tb Cocoa

  19. 2 Bay leaves

  20. 1 t Cilantro

  21. 1/2 tb Mexican oregano

  22. 1 t Tabasco or 1 t Cayenne pepper (+/-to taste)

  23. 3/8 c Chili blend

  24. 2 tb Paprika

  25. 1 cn V-

  26. 8 juice, (48 oz. ea)

  27. 1 c Chopped onion

  28. 1/2 c Green and red peppers,

  29. Chopped 1 cn Stewed tomatoes (16 oz. ea)

  30. Brown pork and beef, and drain very well. Add all ingredients to large

  31. 4 - 6 hours or low for 8 -

  32. hours.

  33. The longer it cooks, the thicker it gets. Cubed roast or steak may be

  34. substitiuted for the ground meat. NOTE: This can be cooked on top of

  35. the

  36. stove. Brown pork and beef, then cook onions until they become limp.

  37. Add

  38. all of the other ingredients first. Cook and mix for 5 minutes add

  39. meat

  40. 4 hours. Stir every

  41. 10 to

  42. minutes. Last served on 6/19/93. Today I'm making this to take to
